Flex Block

Flex Block is what it sounds like: a flexible time when you can get extra help for a class, work on long-term projects, explore an enrichment topic, or a little bit of everything! This time in the middle of the day is for you to meet with teachers, and every Monday there is time to meet with your adviser and extracurricular activities and clubs. In order to get the most out of the time, you will need to use the Enriching Students program to schedule your appointments.

Activity Block

Activity block is designed to offer a wide range of opportunities for students to select and pursue areas of interest. Student clubs and activities take place during scheduled Flex Blocks, and students sign up or propose activities that they want to learn about alongside a teacher mentor.

Advisory

All students are assigned to an advisor who can answer questions about the school and direct students to resources around the building. Advisory time takes place twice a month and is used to build connections among the grade-level members of the Advisory, communicate important logistical information, review grades, and conduct important lessons in Xello, our School Counseling program. Students also work with their Advisors to curate their work for Student-Led Conferences.
